...inexpensive alternative to cooking at home.
April 15, 2010
We came in a few days back and tried their new locals menu. 18.95 for three courses. Its simple stuff but good home style meals and Its right down the street from me. I will be back next week. You should definitely check it out for an inexpensive alternative to cooking at home.
A good mid-town find.

Seemed like they only had about 6 or 7 entrees to choose from on the menu. I think though I'd rather have that than a restaurant with a big menu of 50 items and then they cant get any of them right. The Lodge always seems to deliver food wise. The service is elegant and never rushed. A good mid-town find.
Must try the mussels and the filet.

If your a foodie you must try this place. We came down from Phoenix and stayed at the Lodge on the Desert. The stay was very nice and the food was even better. Must try the mussels and the filet.
Top work by all involved!!!

I took my wife to the restaurant at Lodge on the Desert to celebrate our wedding anniversary and would not hesitate to go back. The food was skillfully prepared, fresh and seasonal. The wait staff were attentive without being overbearing and the decor warm and inviting. It is great to see fresh new look for a Tucson original and I would surely recommend giving this place a shot as they are definatly on the right path. Top work by all involved!!!
Yummy!

Amazing food, beautiful surroundings, and good service. My friends and I came in last week for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. We did not expect to see such an involved menu but it was rather exciting. We are all foodies so we know that it can be tough to integrate local and fresh in Tucson...but the chef did that here. Must try the organic salmon and homemade desserts. Yummy!
